Pomona High School Class Of 96 Entreprenuer

IndieGoGoCheck it out. Eric Schell (PHS ‘96) has recently launched IndieGoGo.com, an “online social marketplace connecting filmmakers and fans to make independent film happen”. Eric and I played on the golf team back in the day. Since then Eric has been roaming the world and now has settled down (sort of) in Berekely and founded a company with two other friends. Most recently they were featured on TheAlarmClock, and Eric’s partner, Slava gave a great interview.

Class Of 96 - Laser Optics Picture

Probably the most disappointing part of being in Nigeria will be missing my 10-year reunion on August 5th. My old Laser Optics teacher just emailed out a picture from our class — boy did that bring back some memories. I’ll let you look at the picture and try to find out who I am.


If any former Pomona High Schoolers are reading this just know I miss the Big Black! Have a great time and I guess I’ll see you at the 15 year reunion.

Golfing Friends

Last weekend I was in Colorado for Craig Melville’s wedding (more pictures to come) and while I was out there I got a round of golf with 2 former teammates from the Pomona High School golf team.
